🏃The Annual Blackburn Fun Run is back, on Sun, June 7th! This family-friendly event is part of the Blackburn FunFair. There’s a Kids 1K Fun Run (9:30 AM) and a 2K Fun Run (10 AM) for all ages. You can walk, run or jog at your own pace. Finisher medals for all registered participants! Ribbons for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female who cross the finish line for each event.
🎮 Help your kids stay safe online this summer! Join for a free Video Game Safety Course for kids ages 8-12 presented by TECH-NEST at the Blackburn Community Hall on Sun, June 14th from 4-5 PM. OC Transpo has recently reported a deficit of $7.2 million for the first three months of 2026. Low ridership is being cited as the biggest culprit. Quick tip for OC Transpo… maybe if your service was more reliable, more people would take transit. Just an idea. 😜
