BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT 🔦

This week’s Orléans business spotlight is… 🥁LOKMA DESSERT BAR located at 2208 St Joseph Blvd, Unit 107.

Lokma is a dessert spot with four locations in Ottawa, including Orléans as well as other locations in both Ontario and Quebec. But what the heck is a Lokma? Well, turns out, they’re a traditional Turkish pastry that’s like a little piece of delicious joy inside your mouth.

Check out our full review of Lokma Dessert Bar in this week’s Orléans Food Spot Review.

As always, if you wind up eating or ordering from there, make sure to tell them that Orléans Connect sent you.

The Gothic-styled Paroisse St-Joseph d’Orléans church is a well known landmark in Orléans with a long history (1830s parish, church built in 1922) and is central to the old village/rural settlement.

Many thanks to Connie D. for sending in a photo of Milo, also known as Orléans greatest escape artist. Milo is a purebred mutt, part Chih Tzu and Bichon Frizé.  A really good little dog when he's not being bad. He loves to chase squirrels and rabbits who dare invade his space. He will find that one square inch of mud and trek his dirty paws through the house. It's an endless game of 'catch me if you can'. Never a dull moment with Milo around.
