🚔 Ottawa Police continue to see some wild and not-so-smart driving stunts along the highway in and around Orléans. The latest stunt? An SUV driving on the highway carrying a passenger in the trunk with the tailgate open. 🤦

Finisher medals for all registered participants! Ribbons for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female who cross the finish line for each event.

Prospective candidates for Mayor, City Councillor roles and School Board Trustee roles can file their nomination forms at the Elections Office until August 21, 2026 at 2 PM. The municipal election will be held on October 26th.
🛶 If you are looking for a low-impact workout, an outdoor social activity or pursuing athletic performance, the Petrie Island Canoe and Kayak Club has some wonderful program opportunities - including for children, adults and seniors! Explore the program online here.

Chris’s Ice Cream has become well-known for its small-batch, made-from-scratch, Philly Style Ice Cream that is to die for. Operating since 2019, owner Chris Levesque has developed a wide variety of ice cream flavours, offering cones, cups, and take-home pints along with dairy-free, and gluten-free options. Give this fantastic Orléans food truck a visit for that much needed burst of cool-down flavour this summer. And also watch out for Chris’s Ice Cream at various markets around Orléans this summer.
