This week’s Orléans business spotlight is… 🥁 Chuck’s Roadhouse located at 2010 Trim Rd📍

Chuck's Roadhouse Bar and Grill isn't just another restaurant, it's a gathering place where families, friends, and neighbours can kick back and feel like they belong. The team there gets it: a night out should be something everyone can enjoy without stressing over the bill. That's why they've made a point of keeping both the food and drinks high quality without the high price tag. Whether guests are passing around appetizers and sharing a few laughs or raising a glass to mark a special occasion, Chuck's believes those moments should always be within everyone's reach.

As always, if you wind up visiting them, make sure to tell them Orléans Connect sent you.

In a seasonal wrap-up report published on May 1, the Ottawa Riverkeeper noted that Orléans recorded the largest increase in road salt usage this past winter (2025-2026) compared to the last five years across the National Capital Region. Environmental advocates are using this data to raise awareness about the lingering impact of high chloride concentrations on local urban creeks and streams.

Many thanks to Andi C. for submitting Kiwi, a gorgeous fur-ball with distinctly green emerald eyes. 🐱
